불교학연구 Studies in Buddhist Thought

불교사상의 본질에 대한 개괄적인 연구를 대상으로 한다 주로 석존 정각의 내용과 불교교단의 성립 그리고 제도이념으로서의 불교사상의 체계와 구조를 분석한다 그 위에 원시불교의 경전과 인물 그리고 다른 종교와의 관계 속에서 전개된 사상의 추이를 해명한다

This is to general research on the essence of Buddhist thought. It mainly analyzes on the content of the perfect enlightenment of Ś Buddha, the establishment of Buddhist order, and the system and structure of Buddhist thought as an organization doctrine. Also, it elucidates canons and personalities of the early Buddhism, and transition of thought developed in the relation with other religions.

동양철학연구 Studies in Oriental Philosophical Thoughts

본 과목은 동아시아의 전통문화의 기반이 되는철학적 사유의 성립과 변천 및 그 현대적 의미를 탐구하는 과목이다 구체적으로는 유불도를 중심으로 하여 자연관 인간관 수양론 정치사회사상 및 문화의식의 중요한 흐름을 공부한다

This is to investigate on establishment, transition and contemporary significance of philosophical thought being based of traditional culture of East Asia. Specifically, centered on Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, it studies on view of nature and human being, theory of practice, political social thought, and important flow of cultural consciousness.

노장사상연구 Studies in Thought of Lao Tzu and Chang Tzu

중국도가철학의 주류를 이루는 노자와 장자의 사상을 체계적으로 연구한다 도덕경과 남화경의 전적의 구조를 분석하고 역사적인 전개와 사상적 특징을 해명한다

This is to systematically research on the thoughts of LaoZi and ZhuangZi whom are main stream of Chinese Taoist philosophy. It analyzes text structures of DaoDeJing and NanHuaJing, and elucidates on historical development and characteristic of thoughts.

동양문화사연구 Studies in History of culture in Oriental

동양의 전통문화사를 체계적으로 연구한다 유불도 삼교의 각종 문화를 비롯한 전통문화의 전개와 특징을 해명해 나간다

This is to systematically research on the history of traditional oriental culture. It elucidates on development and character of tradi- tional cultures, including various cultures of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and others.

전통문화콘텐츠론Traditional Culture Contents

전통문화사상을 콘텐츠의 시각으로 재해석해 나가는 방법론을 모색한다 문화콘텐츠의 방법을 도입하여 전통의 각종 문화와 사상을 새로운 패러다임으로 재구성해 나간다

This is to search for a methodology of reinterpretation of traditional cultural thought from the view point of contents. Introducing methodology of cultural contents, it studies for reconstruct various traditional culture and thought into new paradigm.

현대명상과수행문화 Modern Practice of Meditation and Practice Culture

현대명상冥想의 이론을 섭렵하고 현대 학계에 파급되고 있는 명상 및 수행의 문화에 대해 종합적으로 비평분석한다

This course is to study of the Meditation theories and practices in the religious and philosophical traditions, and to analyze the current studies of Meditation Culture.

한국고문헌연구 Studies in Korean Ancient Writings

본 과목의 목적은 한국의 사상과 문화에 관한 중요한 문헌적 자료를 조사 발굴하여 문헌의 작자와 시대를 서지학적으로 분석하고 그 내용을 해독하는 능력을 함양하는데 있다

This is to bibliographically analyze author and time by investigating and discovering an important literary material in Korean thought and culture. Also, it improves capability of interpretation on original resource.

화론연구 Study on Painting Theory

중국의 화론에 비해 우리의 화론은 약하다는 인식이 강하다 그러나 조선 고유의 화론이 있었고 이를 통해 문화주체성을 드러낼 수 있을 것이다

We search the Chinese and Korean painting theory far and wide, and study the theory with relation to the cultural asset.

This lecture’s purpose is to study dignity of calligraphy and theory about writing style, stroke of the brush and will to write of calligraphy by studying calligraphic theory of calligrapher and calligraphic theorist in Korea and China ever.

주역해석사 History of Interpretation of I-ching

함축적이고 상징적인 주역에 관한 다양한 해석의 흐름을 연구한다 구체적으로는 점역 의리역 상수역 도교역 불교역 의학적 역해 석 등의 접근방법을 탐구하고 특히 기공학적 해석과 명리학적 접근에 주목한다

This is to research on various interpretations on abstractive and symbolic I-ching. It studies approaching methodologies including from augural, meaning and principle, images and symbols, Taoist, Buddhist, and medical aspects. Especially, it concentrates on QiGong aspect analysis and Mingli approach.

음양오행연구 Studies in Theories of Yin and Yang

기의 발현양태인 음양오행의 사상사적 전개과정을 살피고 음양과 오행의 기본성격을 탐구한다 나아가 동양의학 명리학 기공수행 및 문화현상의 각 방면에서 논의된 음양오행의 의미를 탐구한다

Yin-Yang and five elements, the appearance modes of Qi, will be studied in its development process of theoretic history and on their basic characters. Meaning of those which used in various fields, eastern medicine, Ming-li, QiGong practice, and other cultural phenomena will be investigated.

동양인간학연구

유불도 삼교의 인간관을 종합적으로 연구한다 특히 삼교의 심신관 운명론 이상인격론 등에 주목하여 삼교에서 인간 삶에 어떻게 접근하고 바람직한 방향을 모색하는가를 검토한다

Views of human being in three religions, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism will be generally researched. Especially, it will study on how three religions approach to human life and search for desirable direction, concentrating on their mind and body theories, theories on life, and theories on ideal personality.

체상학연구 Studies in Images and forms of Qi

무형한 추상적 기가 유형한 상으로 전개된 후의 형상화한 기에 관한 의미를 체계적으로 연구한다 기에 관한 상과 수의 이론 및 그것 이 천문 인체에 관해 구체적으로 적용되는 과정을 분석한다

After formless abstractive Qi developed into figured image, formated Qi is systematically investigated. It analyzes theories of images and numbers on Qi, and their practical application processes on astronomy and human body.

명리학연구 Studies in Principles of Ming Li

동양의 전통적 천명 개념의 흐름을 살피고 기와 천명이 결합한 기명이론을 연구한다 나아가 기명의 구체적 적용 분야로서의 명리학의 이론적 틀과 기질지성론을 연구한다

It surveys on the flow of traditional Chinese concept of Tian Ming, mandate of heaven, and researches on Qi-Ming theory, com- bination of Qi and Tian Ming. It also studies on the theoretic frame of Ming-Li as a field of practical application of Qi-Ming, and the theory of nature of acquired personality.

명리학사연구 History of Ming Li Principles

한대 왕충의 천명론에서부터 당송대 명리학의 성립 명청대의 발전과정에이르는 역사적 흐름을 연구한다 성리학 불교 도교사상 과의 사상교섭에도 주목하고 현대 명리학의 과제를 탐구한다

This is to study for historical flow of Ming-Li, from the Tian-Ming theory of Wang Chong of Han dynasty, the establishment of Ming-Li in Tang and Song dynasties, and the development process at Ming and Ching dynasties. It also focuses on interchange of thought with neo-Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and so on, and searches for task of contemporary Ming-Li.

풍수학연구 Studies in Thoughts of Feng-Shu

기학의중요한응용분야의 하나인전통적풍수지리사상의 역사적흐름과기본이론을 연구한다 나아가풍수사상과 사회변동및 풍 수사상과 생태학적 환경론과의 연관관계를 탐구한다

This is to study on historical flow and basic theory of traditional Feng-Shui and geographical thought which is one of the most important application of Qi principle. It also investigate on the relation of Feng-Shui thought with social change and ecological environmentalism.

풍수학사연구 History of Feng-Shu Thoughts

상고시대의 주거형태로부터 풍수사상의 여명기 개화기에 이르는 역사적 흐름을 개관한다 나아가 풍수사상의 한국적 전개의 흐름 을 살펴보고 조선시대의 풍수인식의 양상을 검토한다

It studies historical flow of Feng-Shui thought from ancient habitate style, and incunabula and flowering stage of Feng-Shui thought.

역경과술수학

한서예문지 술수략의 여러 영역의 기원과 흐름을 살펴보고 응용기학의 다양한 분야로서 대두된 술수학과 그 사상적 바탕인 주역의 상호연관성을 탐구한다

This is to survey on origins and flows of various fields of the Hanshu Yiwenzhi or “Bibliographical Treatise of the History of the Former Han Dynasty” and the Shushulue. Shushu principle, a representative applied Qi principle and I-Ching, the philosophical basis of it will be investigated for their inter-relation.

고천문학연구 Studies in Oriental Archaic Astronomy

동양적 세계관과 실천수행론에서 중요한 의미를 지니는 고천문학의 성립과정과 기본내용을 연구한다 구체적으로는 천문학의 바탕 인 우주관과 천문역법을 탐구하고 점성술의 기원과 흐름에도 주목한다

Oriental archaic astronomy which possesses important meaning in view of world and practice theory of East asia, is researched in its establishment process and basic contents. Especially, it also focuses on view of universe as the basis of astronomy, and origin and flow of astrology.

상수역학연구 Studies in Images and Symbols of I-ching

주역해석사의 중요한 흐름인 상수역학의 다양한 유파와 흐름을 공부하고 상수역학이 명리 기공 및 풍수에 끼친 영향을 검토한다 나아가 의리역과 상수역의 이론적 특징과 상호관련성을 공부한다

Various schools and flow of the images and symbol of I-Ching, an important factor in the history of I-Ching interpretation will be studied. Also, it surveys on influence of the images and symbol of I-Ching to Ming-Li, QiGong and Feng-Shui then it studies on theoretic features and inter-relation of the meaning and principle and the images and symbols.

역학고전연구 Studies in classics Treatise of I-Ching

역학연구의 다양한 흐름 가운데 중요한 고전을 강독함으로써 고전 해독 능력을 향상시킨다 이를 통해 술수학의 기본개념과 성립과 정을 심도 있게 이해시킨다

Reading an important classic treatise in various flows of I-Ching studies will improve reading and interpretation skill. Along with reading of a classic treatise, student can deeply understand basic concepts and establish process of Shu-Shu.

도교철학연구Taoism

도교의 세계관과 인간이해 윤리관 등을 체계적으로 탐구한다 특히 신관 생명에 대한 인식 심신관 등에 초점을 맞추어 탐구한다

It systematically researches Taoism on view of world, understanding of human, and ethics. Especially, it focuses on view of god, perception of life, and view on mind and body.

동양생태학연구 Studies in Oriental Ecology

유기체적 세계관에 바탕한 동양의 전통적 자연관의 흐름을 밝히고 특히 생태여성주의적도교적 자연관에 주목한다

This is to clarify the flow of Oriental traditional view of nature based on organic view of world, and to study on eco-feministic and Taoistic view of nature.

동양상담론연구 Studies in Oriental Counselling

유불도 삼교의 전통 속에 형성된 동양적 심리인식과 이에 바탕한 상담이론을 연구한다 나아가 기철학에 바탕하여 명리 체상 기질 및 체질을 파악하는 상담이론을 모색한다

Established in tradition of three religions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, oriental psychological perception and coun- selling based on it will be investigated. Also, based on Qi philosophy, it searches on counselling methodologies to comprehend Ming-Li, body images, personal and physical nature.

명리고전연구 Studies in classics of Ming-li

중국 고대로부터 근대에 이르는 명리학의 역사적 변천과정 가운데 대표적인 명리고전을 강독함으로써 고전해독능력을 향상시키고 다양한 해석학적 시각을 공부한다

Reading a representative classic work of Ming-Li in the historical transition process of Ming-Li principle from ancient to modern China will improve reading and interpretation skill on classics, and also attain various view points of hermeneutics.

기학사상사연구 Studies in History of Qi-Philosophy Thought

본 과목은 기철학의 발생과 역사적 전개과정을 살펴봄을 목적으로 한다 구체적으로는 춘추전국시대의 발생기 한 대의 이론정립기 송명대의 성숙기 등으로 대별하여 공부한다

This is to survey on origin and historical development process of Qi-philosophy. Specifically, it studies on generating stage of the Warring Country period, theoretic establishment stage of Han dynasty, and maturing stage of Song-Ming dynasties, respectively.

천명사상연구 Studies in Tian-Ming Thought

본 과목은 천명개념의 성립과 다양한 발전과정을 탐구함을 목적으로 한다 유가의 도덕적 천명론 도가의 자연주의적 천명론을 비롯하여 송대 이후 대두된 이기론적 천명론을 공부한다

This is to investigate on establishment of Tian-Ming concept and various development processes. It examines on Confucian ethical Tian-Ming thought, Taoist naturalistic Tian-Ming thought and Li-Qi theoretic Tian-Ming thought after Song dynasty.
