국방정책론 National Defense Policy

국방정책에 관한 이론적고찰과실제 국방정책에 대한 분석을통하여국제적지역적국가적차원에서의 안보정세판단 능력을배 양하고 국방정책의 수립 집행 평가에 관한 전문적 지식을 함양한다

Through theoretical consideration of national defense policy and analysis of actual national defense policy, the ability to judge national security situation at international, regional and national level is cultivated, and professional knowledge of defense policy establishment, implementation and evaluation is cultivated.

군사전략론 Military Strategy

고대로부터 현대에 이르기까지 전쟁 규모가 확대되어가는 과정에서 전략의 역할에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 군사전략의 기초이론과 지 상항공해양 전략은 물론 핵전략 그리고 최근의 정보 사이버전 대응 전략을 포함한 포괄적 내용을 학습한다

Through the lec- ture of this subject we research comprehensive contents including not only basic theory of military strategy and ground·aerial·ma- rine strategy, but also nuclear strategy and anti-ciber and electronic warfare strategy on the basis of understanding of role of strategy in the course of expansion of level of execution of war from ancient to recent ages.

군비통제론 Arms Control

군비통제는 한반도 평화체제 구축과정에서 가장 중요한 국가안보의 군사전략적 접근방안으로서 향후 북핵 문제 진전 시 보다 구체 적으로 진전될 것인 바 군비통제에 대한 정확한 개념과 합리적 접근대안을 이해할 수 있도록 교육한다

As a military strategic approach of national security in the course of construction of peace system in the Korean peninsular, arms control between two Koreas will be executed more concretely, when the North Korea nuclear problem will be proceeded in the near future. For the preparation of coming of such a situation it is necessary for us to educate and understand the exact conception and rational measures of arms control.

국방경제론 National Defense Economy

군사부문에서의 군사혁신과 경제현상과의 관계를 정립하고 이해능력을 제고시킴으로써 사부문의 의사결정 및 운영에 대한 효율성 을 제고시킬 수 있는 기반지식을 부여한다

Through the lecture of this subject we acquire the basic knowledge to increase the economic efficiency in the respect of deci- sion-making and management in military sphere by establishing relation between military and economic phenomena, and strength- ening the ability of ability of understanding about it.

국제분쟁론 International Conflict

국가 간에 발생하는 각종 분쟁현상에대한 원인과 조정에 관한 제반 이론을 탐구하고이들 이론을 바탕으로 실질적인 사례를 연구 및 검토함으로써 국제분쟁을 해결할 수 있는 대안을 모색한다

Through the lecture of this subject we study theories concerning causes and coordination about various conflicts phenomena between countries, and analie realistic study-case about it on the basis of these theories, and then we take effective measures for resolving the international conflicts.

군대사회학 Military Sociology

군대조직의 역할과위상그리고군대조직이 갖는 특성 및 군대문화를 학습하며 주요 국가들의민군관계유형과그 가능 조건들을 고찰함으로써 한국 군대조직에 대한 이해도를 높이고 그 올바른 가치관 형성의 기초를 구축한다

Through the lecture of this subject we could understand the military organization of R.O.K.A. and construct the basis for the for- mation of right value by studying the role, position and military organization, understanding the military civilization, and surveying patterns of relation between the civilian and the military, and possible condition this relation.

동북아안보론Cooperation in North East Asia

제차 세계대전 이후 동북아 국가들의 정치경제사회적 요인을 이해하고 중국남북한일본러시아 등의 최근 대내외 정책의 변화 와 탈냉전 이후 한반도를 둘러싼 강대국 역학관계를 분석 및 평가한다

Through this lecture we understand political·economic·social factors of countries in North East Asia since World War Ⅱ and then analyze and evaluate the change of domestic and foreign policies recently of China, Russia, Japan, U.S.A. two Koreas, and dynamic relation between powers around the Korean peninsular.

지휘통솔 Study on Miliary Leadership

급변하고 있는 리더십 환경에 부응하여 군 조직을 효율적으로 지휘하고 관리하는데 필요한 고급제대의 리더십을 배양하며 군 간부 로서의 임무를 원활히 수행토록 하는데 필요한 이론과 사례를 연구한다

Through the lecture of this subject we could cultivate the necessary quality of leadership in high level troops for effective command-ing and managing the military organization and research the necessary theory and case study for successful execution of mission of managing staff answering the changing leadership.

민군관계 Relation between the Civilian and the Military

한국의대내외적안보 및 군사상황 안보환경및 전쟁양상의 변화그리고한국사회에서의 군의 위상 변화에따른 민군관계의 정립 방향을 제시한다

Through this subject we could understand and abstract the establishment of relation between the civilian and the military according to the change of domestic and international political· military situation and security environment of R.O.K.A. war paradigm, and change of position of armed forces in Korean society.

동서양의 시대별주요 국가별 군사사상을 고찰하여 현대 및 장차 당면할 안보상황에서 어떠한 전쟁관을 가지고 군사력을 건설 및 운 용할 것인지 하는 국방의지 중심의 한국 군사사상을 정립시킨다 Through surveying the military thought of the eastern and western world in the respect of each age and country, we establish the military thought of R.O.K.A. centering around national defense volition what kind of value of war we have and how to construct and use the armed forces.

국방행정 및 관리 문제를 분야별로 이해하고 예측할 수 있는 지식과 관리능력을 부여한다

Through the lecture of this subject we could acquire the knowledge and management ability to understand and suspect various questions in each sphere of defense administration and management.

남북한관계론

남북한 관계의 역사적 맥락과 형성과정 · 특성 · 남북관계 적용 이론 등에 관한 학습을 통해 남북한 관계의 과거와 현재를 통찰하고 미래의 전망을 예측 · 판단하며 남북한 관계 연구에 필요한 이론 및 영향 변수 추론 능력 등 지적능력을 함양한다

Through the lecture on the historical context, formation course, characteristics, and applied theory of the relation between South and North Korea, we could investigate the practice of past and present relation between two Koreas, estimate the perspective of future relation between two Koreas, further cultivate the intellectual ability including necessary theory and abstracting ability for research of it, and influential parameters for studying the relation between two Koreas.

전쟁론연구 War

전쟁연구를 통해 전쟁의 개념 및 성격 본질과 유형은 물론 그 원인 경과 및 결과 종결 및 영향 등을 이해하고 전쟁과 관련된 평화 와의 관계를 유지하기 위한 실질적인 대책을 강구한다

Through the lecture of this subject we understand not only conception, essence, and pattern of war, but also cause, course, result, termination, and influence of war, further we take realistic measures for maintaining the peace and relation with other spheres concerning with war.

미래전연구 Study on the Future War

과학기술과 사회의 변화 및 발전추세를 고려한 미래전쟁 양상 신무기 전략 및 전술의 변화 등을 군사혁신 비전 등과 연계하여 연구 한다

Through the lecture of this subject we research the paradigm of future war in which are considered science technology, social change and it’s progressive tendency, high-tech weapons, the change of strategy and tactics in connection with R.M.A. vision.

저강도분쟁연구 Study on Low Intensity Conflict

테러리즘과 대테러리즘 4세대 전쟁과 분란전 평화지원 활동 등 다양한 저강도 분쟁 관련 이론을 연구하고 세계 주요 분쟁양상과 미 국 등 주요 국가들의 저강도 분쟁전략을 분석하며 이를 기초로 한국의 저강도 분쟁전략과 발전방향을 모색한다

Through the lecture of this subject we research the conflict theory concerning with various low conflicts including terrorism and anti-terrorism, 4th generation war and insurgency, and peace support activity etc, analyze the main paradigm and strategies of low intensity conflict of main military powers, and grope it’s developmental direction.

국가안전보장연구 Study on the National Security

국가안전보장의개념과 이론 및 방법론을 고찰하고한반도 주변 국가들을 포함한 주요 국가별 안전보장제도및 운영 등 실태를 파 악하며 북한의 군사적 위협 및 안보정책을 분석하여 한국적 상황에 부합되는 국가안전보장 방안 및 대책과 그 발전방향을 강구한다

We take measures of national security and it’s developmental direction which is consistent with security situation in Korean peninsular by investigating the conception, theory and methodology of national security, grasping the practice and the reality of institution of national security of main powers around the Korean peninsular, further analyzing it’s military and security policy.

세계정치이론 Study on the Theory of World Politics

세계정치의 기본이 되는 이론 학습을 통해 세계정치 현상을 분석․종합하고 나아가 세계정치 현상을 기술·예측하는 시각·분석력을 배양한다

Through researching the theory of world politics as a fundamental of politics between nations we analyze and generalize phenomena of world politics, further cultivate the point of view and analysis ability to describe and expect it.

군사동맹과협력연구 Study on the Military Alliance and Cooperation

군사동맹의 배경과 개념 및 구분 등 군사동맹의 주요 이론을 고찰하고 국제관계에서 전쟁위협을 제거하고 전쟁발생을 방지하여 평 화안정을 구축하기 위해 국제관계의 제 현상을 분석․진단하며 한미 군사동맹과 협력의 발전방향을 모색하다

Through the lecture of this subject we grope the main theory of military alliance including the background, conception, and classi- fication of military alliance, analyze and diagnose the phenomena of international relation in order to construct the system of peace and stability, by eliminating the threat of war and preventing the war. On the basis of such a research we abstract the developmental direction of military alliance and cooperation between R.O.K.A. and U.S.A.

국제안보의 구체적인 실체인 국제안보기구에 대한 이해와 전문지식을 함양하여 향후 지역적․범세계적 국제안보기구에서 활동할 수 있는 군사안보정책 능력과 자질을 배양한다

Through the lecture of this subject we acquire the understanding ability and professional knowledge about international security organization, and cultivate the ability and quality as a specialist in the sphere of military security who could acts in regional․global international security organization.

전쟁법연구 Study on Law of War

헤이그 및 제네바 협약 등 국제법에서 규정하고 있는 전쟁법의 개념과 규칙을 살펴보고 세계 주요 국가들의 육전법규 등에 관한 현 상과 실체를 분석하여 전쟁의 정당성 문제를 전쟁의 도덕성과 전시 도덕성으로 구분하여 고찰함으로써 전쟁윤리를 습득한다

Through the lecture of this subject we investigate the conception, ordinaries and regulations of law of war including Hague and Geneva Conventions, analyze the phenomena and reality of main powers in the world. On the basis of such a research we acquire the war ethics by inquiring the question of the just war which is classified by morality of war and morality in execution of war.

전쟁의 현상과 실태를 분석하여 전쟁의 원인 및 배경 원칙 등 일반이론을 정립하고 나아가 전쟁교훈을 도출하여 평시 전쟁을 예방 및 방지하고 전쟁발발 시에는 그 승리 대책을 강구한다

Through the lecture of this subject we establish the general theory of war including various causes and background of war, main principles of war by way of analysis of phenomena and reality of the war, further we take appropriate measures of prevention from war and victory in war.

군사업무의 개념과 성격 및 내용 등을 시대별․지역별로 구분하여 살펴보고 군사사의 연구 방법론에 대한 발전방향을 모색한다

Through the lecture of this subject we research the conception, characteristic, and main contents of military affairs by classification according to age and region, further grope the developmental direction of research methodology of military affairs.

군사제도사특수연구 Special Study on the History of Military Institution

군사제도의 역사를고대 · 근대 · 현대 등 시대적구분과동 · 서양 등 지역적구분을통해 고찰한다 특히한국의군사제도는 고대 · 고려시대 · 조선전․후기의 군사제도와 해방이후의 군사제도로 구분하여 살피면서 군대의 창설과 편제및 군제등에대한다양한 문헌자료를 토대로 고찰한다

Through the lecture of this subject we classify the history of military institution in the respect of age, region of the world : in age classification ancient ․ modern ․ recent ages, in regional classification western ․ Eastern Korea. Here through the history Korean military institution is classified by ancient countries including Kokuryeo ․ Shilla ․ Baekje ․ Kohryeo dynasty, former and latter ages of Chosun dynasty, and age of since the liberation. Especially there foundation, organization, equipment and military system in the object of research into the history of Korean military institution.

국방정책분석세미나Policy-Analysis of National Defense

국방정책 관련 다양한 이론 학습을 기초로 국방정책 이론 및 현상에 대한 분석을 통해 새로운 정책 대안을 모색하고 이러한 연구를 통해 저명 학술지 기고와 학위 논문 완성의 기초를 구축한다

Through the analysis of theory and phenomena of policy for national defense on the basis of research for various theories concerning with national defense policy we grope new measures of national defense policy of R.O.K.A. and construct the basis for the contri- bution of research result and completion of thesis of decorate.

역사 공동체로서의 동북아 주변국들과의 군사관계를 무력충돌 ․ 군사외교 등의 전개과정을 중심으로 고찰하여 보다 효율적인 반도 국가로서의 국방대비 태세 방안을 제시한다

Based on the development process of armed conflict, military diplomacy and military relations with the Northeast Asian neighbors as a historical community, the government proposes a more efficient defense readiness plan as a peninsular nation.
