경혈경락 체계에 대한 기초지식을 바탕으로 경혈경락에 대한 다양한 연구방법론을 제시하고 각 연구방법론의 특성에 대해 분석한다

In this class, it is aiming to provide the charactoristics of various methologies for meridian system and acupuncture points and to let the students analyse the suitability of each methology when they perform their own study in accordance with the basic knowledge of the meridian system and acupuncture points.

황제내경연구

황제내경黃帝內經을 강독함으로써 황제내경에 담겨있는 학술사상과 의학적 가치를 학습한다

Learn the academic ideas and medical values contained in Huangdineijing by reading the book.

방제구성특론

방제의 구성에 있어 전통적으로 기본이 되는 군신좌사론을 기반으로 이후에 발전된 한의학적 지식을 바탕으로 새로운 처방을 만들어내는 이론을 공부함

팔강론

病位․病邪의 性質과 盛衰․人體의 正氣의 强弱 등에 의하여 疾病의 陰陽․表裏․寒熱․虛實의 八綱으로 구분하여 연구한다

This course studies Eight Principles which is one of the most basic diagnosis methods. Through the four diagnosis methods, one can analyze the symptoms and check the characteristic of pathogen, exuberance and debilitation of the healthy qi or pathogenic qi, and the depth of disease. One also can classify by Eum and Yang, exterior and interior, cold and heat, and deficiency and excess.

한국의학사연구방법론

수강생들이 한의학 서적의 내용을 현대사회에 맞게 합리적으로 설명할 수 있게 되는 것을 목표로 한다 이를 위해 의서의 내용들 중 형이상학적인 내용보다는 실제 임상에서 사용된 환자의 증상 및 경과 변화 투약 및 치료경험 중심의 의서읽기 방법과 한의학 용어 와 개념의 표준화를 위한 사전화 작업의 방법에 대해 강의한다

Students can make a reasonable explanation on the contents of Korean Medicine books. Students learn how to focus on symptom, progress and treatment of the patients rather than on metaphysical explanations. The lecture also deals with the methods of making a dictionary of medical terms, for the purpose of standardization.

Students can explain the situation of Korean medicine in the modernization period. Students can understand and explain the colo- nial and imperialistic view of history, and the events that happened from late 19th century to early 20th century.

조선전기의학사연구 Medical History in Early Chosŏn period

수강생들이 국가에 의해 의학이 눈부시게 발전한 조선 초기 의학의 특징을 설명할 수 있게 되는 것을 목표로 한다 이를 위해 고려 말 조선 초의 역사적 배경과 세종의 치적 그리고 주요 의서의 출판에 대해 강의한다

Students can explain the characteristics of medicine in the early Joseon period when the development of medicine was lead by the government. Students learn the historical background of late Goryeo and early Joseon period, and the work of king Sejong, and the publishment of major medical texts.

수강생들이대한민국 건국 이후 한의학의 발전과정을설명할 수 있게 되는 것을 목표로 한다 이를 위해 한의사들이제도권에 재진 입하기 위해 노력한 사회적 활동 법령의 재개정 그리고 대정부 운동 등 여러 사건들에 대해 강의한다

Students can explain the progress of Korean medicine since the foundation of the Republic of Korea. Students learn the social activities of Korean medicine doctors for Korean medicine to be the mainstream again, such as the revision of several acts, and the movement against the policy of the government.

아시아각국의전통의학사연구 Medical History in Asian Countries

수강생들이 전통의학의 보편성과 특수성을 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다 이를 위해 아시아 각 국 특히 중국 대만 일본 베트남 및 인도 태국 등 전통의학 강국의 역사와 현 제도에 대해 강의한다

Students can explain the universality and the distinctiveness of each traditional medicine in various Asian countries. Students learn the history and current situation of the traditional medicine in China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, India, and Thailand.

수강생들이 동아시아에서 감염병 치료의 역사를 설명할 수 있게 되는 것을 목표로 한다 이를 위해 전통적으로 상한 및 온병의 범주 에서 다루어온 동아시아의 질병에 대해 설명하고 레스터 킹이 이야기하는 질병의 임상적 실제와 질병실체를 구분하는 방법을 강의 한다

Students can explain the history of epidemic treatment in East Asia. Students learn the epidemics which has been regarded as Cold Damange or Warm Disease in East Asia. Students also learn how to differentiate the clinial entity and the disease entity of a disease, based on the discussion of Lester Snow King.

望診論

患者의 精神狀態 面色 形體 動態 및 分泌物 排泄物 등을 視覺을 통하여 관찰하므로써 疾病을 診察하는 方法論을 硏究한다

This course studies Inspection. One of the four methods of diagnosis, which is a way of gaining information for diagnosis by seeing patient’s vitality, movements, each body part, stool, urine etc.

聞診論 Examination

患者로부터 나타나는 여러 가지 소리와 냄새의 이상한 변화를 듣고 맡음으로써 疾病을 診察하는 方法論을 硏究한다

This course studies Listening and Smelling Examination. This is one of the four diagnostic examinations, specifically listening and smelling. The hearing of patient’s voice or smelling is included in this category. The hearing means to hear the patient’s voice, respiration, coughing sound, mourning sound. The smelling means to smell the patient’s fetid mouth odor etc.

疾病의 發生 發展 治療經過와 現在證狀 등 疾病과 관련된 여러 상황을 질문하므로써 疾病을 診察하는 方法論을 硏究한다

This course studies Inquiry. one of the four diagnostic examinations, which is a way of gaining information for diagnosis by asking the patient about the complaint and the history of the illness.

脈診論 Theory on Pulse Diagnosis

氣口 人迎 三部九候 寸關尺 등의 부위에서 나타나는 맥상을 변별하여 疾病을 診察하는 方法論을 硏究한다

This course studies Examination of the pulse for making diagnosis. Checking a pulse condition by touching pulsation, a kind of diagnostic method that obtains the data needed in pattern identification. Observing the change of pulsation pulsating on the swelled artery under skin, a typical Korean medicine diagnostic method.

腹診論 Examination

腹診은 患者의 病證을 辨識하는 按診의 일종으로서 腹證이라고도 하는데 이를 통하여 疾病을 診察하는 方法論을 硏究한다

This course studies examination of the chest and abdomen by touching and pressing in combination with other examinations for the purpose of determining a morbid condition in diagnosis

한의학문헌고찰 Systematic Literature Review in Korean Medcine

한의학 연구 관련 자료를 모으고 체계적으로 정리하여 연구 수행의 기반 지식을 확보하는 방법에 대해 학습한다

This course will help students acquire basic knowledge about research, collecting and organizing data related to Oriental medicine research.

임상적으로 중요한 각종 질환의 임상증상 진단 및 치료방법을 개괄적으로 소개하고 아울러 각종 질환의 병인론을 이해하여 질병 발 생의 이해를 통해 다양한 융합연구를 촉진한다

This course introduces the clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment methods of various clinically important diseases as well as understanding the pathogenesis of various diseases and promoting various fusion research through understanding of disease occur- rence.

췌장병연구Pancreatic Disease

膵臟은 한의학에서 臟에 속하는지 腑에 속하는지 아직도 의론이 분분하다 혹자는 膵는 五臟에 속하지도 않고 또한 六腑에도 속하 지 않으나 膵가 상복부에 위치하고 위 아래에서 발생하므로 그 기능이 腑와 유사하다고 하였다 일반적으로 肝 膽 脾 胃의 機能失 常이 모두 膵臟의 질환을 일으킬 수 있다고 인식하고 있다 특히 만성 췌장염은 주된 임상표현이소화불량과복통이므로대부분 脾 胃虛弱이 그 病機이고肝氣鬱滯肝脾不和肝胃不和를兼하고 本虛邪實의증상을 보이므로 虛實을 살펴 치료하는 것에 대하여 講 究하는 학문이다

There are still much dabate about identiity of pancrease, jang or bu. Generally functional disorder of liver, stomach, spleen, gallblad- der makes pancreatic disease. Specially, main clinical expression of chronic pancreatitis are dyspepsia and abdominal pain. Treatment starts to distinguish the etiology to specific illness.

기능성 위장장애는 현재 서양의학적 검사법으로도 기질적 병변이 발견되지 않는데도 환자가 소화기계통의 증상을 나타내는 임상증 후군을말하는것으로상부위장관 기능장애와 하부위장관 기능장애로 나뉜다한의학에서는 대개 肝鬱氣滯가 조성되어胃 腸 心 脾 등의 臟腑에 영향을 주어 여러 증상이 일어나고 이러한 기초위에 또 다른 병사가 相兼하여 병이 됨으로써 病程이 複雜하고 虛實이 錯雜한 증상을 띠게 되므로 治療는 疏肝解鬱을 爲主로 隨證治療해야하므로 虛實을 살펴 치료하는 것에 대하여 講究하는 학문이다

Functional gastrointestinal disorder cannot be diagnosed but patients suffer symptoms. Functional gastrointestinal disorder can be classified as upper and lower gastrointestinal disorder. Kan-ul-ki-che influences stomach, intestine, heart, spleen and makes many symptom. Under Kan-ul-ki-che, disease is more complicated. Treatment starts to distinguish full and empty.

Incidence of small intestine cancer is low. A large percentage of gastrointestinal cancer are stomach or large intestine cancer. Large intestine cancer belongs to jang-dok, ha-cho-sup-yeol, jang-pung. Large intestine conducts conduction and passes scraps. Because of many factors, sup-yeol-on-dok accumulates and makes tumor. This lecture is to research treatment by distinguishing plus and minus, empty and fullness.

‘Gu-Sa(procreating offspings)’ was mentioned as the mechanism of getting pregnant in old books and was mainly consists of in- fertility treatment method. Infertility is categorized as primary and secondary one. ‘Research on Fertilization’ is the study of ‘the Differentiation of Syndromes and treatments’ of infertility.

Pregnant disorder means a pregnancy-related symptom and includes all the diseases in the gestation period. It consists of 4 cat- egories : disease which is transmitted from mother to fetus, disease which is transmitted from fetus to mother, fetal disease and maternal disease. ‘Research on the pregnant disorder’ is the study of ‘the Differentiation of Syndromes and treatments’ of the pregnant disorder.

산후병연구 Research on Postpartal Disorder

産後病은 姙娠病의 對稱이며 分娩後 産母의 異常으로 惹起되는 病症을 말하고 또한 姙娠이나 分娩에 直接的인 聯關없이 發病한 것 이라도 産褥의 影響이면 포함된다 産後病硏究에서는 辨證施治에 대하여 硏究한다

Postpartal disorder means symptoms occuring to mothers in the postnatal period and also involves symptoms, which has no direct relationship to pregnancy and childbirth, affected in the puerperium. ‘Research on the postpartal disorder’ is the study of ‘the Dif- ferentiation of Syndromes and treatments’ of the postpartal disorder.
