한국의 전통과 현대 문화를 통합적으로 이해하고, 사회·정서적 가치와 문화적 상징체계를 분석하여 한국문화 전반에 대한 비판적 사고와 문화 간 소통 역량을 기른다.

한국문학과문화콘텐츠

한국문학의 주요 주제와 서사를 바탕으로 영화, 드라마, 웹툰 등 문화콘텐츠로 확장되는 양상을 살펴보며, 문학과 미디어 간의 상호작용과 창작적 재해석 능력을 배양한다.

This course examines how major themes and narratives in Korean literature are adapted into cultural contents such as films, dramas, and webtoons, enhancing understanding of media-literature interaction and creative reinterpretation.

한국문학과지역문화

문학작품 속 지역성과 공간 표현을 통해 지역문화의 특성을 이해하고, 한국의 지역 정체성과 문학적 재현 양식을 분석하여 문학과 지역 간의 상호관계를 탐구한다.

Through the exploration of spatial representations in literature, students will understand regional characteristics and analyze how local identities are portrayed and connected with Korean literary forms.

K-컬처문화예술답사

한국의 전통 및 현대 문화예술 현장을 직접 체험하고, 문화유산과 공연예술 등의 실천적 학습을 통해 한국문화에 대한 감각적 이해와 문화 현장 비평 능력을 기른다.

This field-based course offers hands-on experiences of Korea’s traditional and contemporary cultural sites, enhancing aesthetic understanding and critical perspectives through direct engagement with cultural heritage and performing arts.

한국의학과문화

한국 전통의학의 철학과 치유관, 식문화 및 명상 등 건강을 둘러싼 문화적 요소를 탐색하고, 의학과 문화의 융합적 이해를 통해 인간 중심의 통합적 사고를 기른다.

This course investigates the philosophy and healing principles of traditional Korean medicine, food culture, and meditation, fostering integrative thinking through the cultural dimensions of health and well-being.

한국어정서법의이해

이 강의는 국어 맞춤법의 원리를 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이러한 원리를 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 그 대상이 되는 표준어에 대한 충분한 이해가 선행되어야 한다.

This course aims to understand the principles of Korean orthography. In order to properly understand these principles, a sufficient understanding of the target standard language must precede.

한국어교육과한국문화

이 강의는 ‘외국인을 위한 한국어 교육’의 기본 개념을 바탕으로 한국어 교육을 충실히 수행하기 위해 개설된다. 그 과정에서 한국문화를 활용하는 방식의 교육이 검토될 것이다.

This course aims to faithfully perform Korean language education based on the basic concept of ‘Korean language education for foreigners’. In the process, education will be conducted in a way that utilizes Korean culture.

한국어문장의이해

이 강의는 정확한 한국어 문장을 쓰기 위한 기초 과정이다. 한국어 문장 구성에 필요한 문법 지식을 바탕으로 다양한 문장을 연습하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This course is a basic course for writing accurate Korean sentences. It aims to practice various sentences based on the grammar knowledge necessary for constructing Korean sentences.

한국어의문법

이 강의는 형태소와 단어의 구성을 이해하는 형태론과, 형태소와 단어가 문장을 이루어가는 과정인 통사론을 학습한다.

This course studies morphology, which is the understanding of the structure of morphemes and words, and syntax, which is the process by which morphemes and words form sentences.

한국어의발음

이 강의는 한국어 발음의 원리와 특징을 학습하는 것을 목표로 한다. 음성과 음운을 구분할 수 있으며 여러 가지 음운현상에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히게 될 것이다. 일상생활에서 비교적 쉽게 발견할 수 있는 예를 우선적으로 검토할 것이다.

This course aims to learn the principles and characteristics of Korean pronunciation. It will be able to distinguish between phone and phoneme and will broaden understanding of various phonological phenomena. Examples that are easily found in daily life will be considered first.

한국전통미술의흐름과글로벌시각

이 강의는 선사시대부터 조선시대까지 한국 미술의 흐름을 조망하며, 시대별 대표 양식과 특징을 살펴본다. 조각, 회화, 도자, 공예 등 다양한 부문에서 시대별 미의식과 사상을 이해하고, 동아시아 및 세계 미술과의 비교를 통해 한국 미술의 독자성을 조명한다.

This course provides an overview of the development of Korean art from the prehistoric period to the Joseon dynasty. It examines key styles and characteristics of each period through major categories such as sculpture, painting, ceramics, and crafts. By comparing Korean art with East Asian and global art traditions, the course highlights its distinctive aesthetics and underlying philosophies.

한국미술의서사

이 강의는 한국 전통 미술 속에 담긴 ‘서사’의 다양한 내용과 시각화 방식 및 의미를 탐구한다. 궁중행사도, 감계화, 불화, 풍속화, 민화, 삽화 등 다양한 장르를 통해 이미지가 이야기를 구성하는 방식을 분석하며, 그림 속 인물, 상징, 공간의 배치를 통해 한국 미술에 담긴 서사적 장치와 시각적 문법을 이해한다.

This course explores the diverse narratives, visualization methods, and meanings embedded in traditional Korean art. Through genres such as royal ceremonial paintings, didactic paintings, Buddhist paintings, genre scenes, folk paintings, and illustrations, students analyze how images construct stories and examine the narrative devices and visual grammar expressed through figures, symbols, and spatial composition.

조선의궁궐과궁중미술

이 강의는 조선시대 궁궐과 궁중 미술을 중심으로, 왕실 문화의 시각적 표현과 상징체계를 탐구한다. 창덕궁, 경복궁 등 주요 궁궐의 건축과 공간 구성, 그리고 의궤도, 반차도, 어진, 궁중 장식화 등 궁중 회화를 중심으로 왕실 권위, 의례, 미의식이 어떻게 시각화되었는지를 살펴본다.

This course explores the palaces and court art of the Joseon dynasty, focusing on the visual expressions and symbolic systems of royal culture. It examines the architecture and spatial organization of major palaces such as Changdeokgung and Gyeongbokgung, as well as court paintings including ceremonial records (uigwe), royal processions, portraits, and decorative arts, to understand how royal authority, rituals, and aesthetics were visually represented.

한국미술과종교

이 강의는 한국 전통 미술 속에 담긴 종교적 신앙과 사상이 어떻게 시각적으로 구현되었는지를 탐구한다. 불교, 유교, 도교, 무속 등 다양한 종교 전통을 중심으로, 건축, 조각, 회화, 공예에 나타난 도상과 상징, 공간 구성의 의미를 살펴본다. 특히 불국사, 석굴암, 종묘, 서원 등 유네스코 세계문화유산에 등재된 주요 유적을 통해 한국 종교미술의 미학과 문화적 가치를 조명한다.

This course explores how religious beliefs and traditions have been visually expressed in traditional Korean art. It examines Buddhist, Confucian, Daoist, and shamanistic influences across architecture, sculpture, painting, and crafts, focusing on iconography, symbolism, and spatial composition. Special attention is given to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Jongmyo Shrine and Confucian academies to highlight the aesthetic and cultural significance of Korea’s religious art.

한류와미술:전통의현대적변용

이 강의는 한류(K-컬처)의 흐름 속에서 한국 전통 회화가 현대적으로 어떻게 재해석되고 변용되는지를 탐구한다. 궁중회화, 민화, 문인화 등 전통 회화의 미감과 상징이 현대 미술과 시각문화 속에서 어떻게 활용되고 재창조되는지를 살펴본다. 전통과 창조성의 역동적인 관계를 조명하며, 문화의 지속성과 변화에 대한 비판적 사고를 기른다.

This course explores how traditional Korean painting has been reinterpreted and adapted in the context of Hallyu (the Korean Wave). Focusing on genres such as court painting, folk painting, and literati painting, the course examines how traditional aesthetics and symbols are utilized and reimagined in contemporary visual culture. Students will investigate the dynamic relationship between tradition and creativity, and develop critical perspectives on cultural continuity and transformation.

한국역사의이해

한국 역사에 대한 입문과목으로 한국 역사에 대한 전반적인 흐름에 대한 이해와 학습을 도모한다. 한국 역사에 대한 기초적인 이해를 마련하여 K-컬쳐와 역사에 대한 심도 있는 탐구를 위한 기초 학습이다.

This is an introductory course on Korean history that aims to understand and learn about the overall flow of Korean history. It is a basic study for in-depth exploration of K-culture and history by providing a basic understanding of Korean history.

한국역사와멀티미디어

한국 역사를 학습하는데 유용한 멀티미디어에 대한 이해, 멀티미디어를 활용한 한국 역사 학습을 위한 기초 작업이다. 한국 역사의 각 시대별 자료를 다양한 멀티미디어 아카이브에서 찾고 활용하는 검색방법론을 학습한다.

It is a basic work for understanding multimedia useful for learning Korean history and learning Korean history using multimedia. Students will learn the search methodology of finding and utilizing materials for each period of Korean history from various multimedia archives.

전통시대한국인의생활문화

근대 이전의 전통 시대 한국인의 생활문화에 대한 연원, 각 분야별 내용 및 그들의 특성을 학습한다. 전통적인 생활과 민속이 오늘날 한국인의 의식과 행동 방식에 어떻게 영향을 미치고 있는지 탐구한다.

This course will study the history of Korean living culture in the traditional period before the modern era, the contents of each field, and their characteristics. It explores how traditional life and folklore are influencing the consciousness and behavior of Koreans today.

조선시대의왕실과양반문화

조선 오백년을 이끌어온 왕실과 양반사대부 역사와 문화에 대해 학습한다. 국왕과 왕후를 중심으로 하는 왕실의 정치와 문화, 그리고 과거시험을 통해 관료가 된 양반사대부의 삶과 사유 세계 등을 탐구한다.

Learn about the history and culture of the royal family and the yangban godfathers who led the Joseon dynasty for five hundred years. It explores the politics and culture of the royal family centered on the king and queen, and the life and thought world of the yangban godfather who became a bureaucrat through exams.

한국역사현장세미나

한국사에서 중요한 역사 현장을 지역별로 답사함으로써 한국 역사와 문화유산을 직접 체험할 수 있게 한다. 역사 현장 체험 학습을 통해 K-컬쳐와 한국 역사를 심층적으로 이해할 수 있는 능력을 함양한다.

By visiting important historical sites in Korean history by region, visitors can directly experience Korean history and cultural heritage. Through field trips on history, students develop the ability to understand K-culture and Korean history in depth.

한국소설의이해

한국 소설의 역사를 이해하고 주요 작품을 파악한다. 특히 해외에 번역되어 세계적으로 알려진 한국 작품들을 읽고 분석한다.

This course aims to provide an understanding of the history of Korean novels and to examine significant works. Special attention will be given to Korean literary works that have been translated into foreign languages and gained international recognition.

한국현대소설강독

이 수업은 한국의 현대 소설 작품을 직접 읽고 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 통해 한국어 소설 읽기 능력을 배양한다.

This course aims to read and comprehend modern Korean literary works. Through this process, students will develop their ability to read and interpret Korean novels.

한류와한국대중문화

이 수업에서는 한류의 대표적인 작품을 감상하고 다른 문화와 비교·분석하여 한국 대중문화의 특징을 파악한다. 영화, 드라마, K-pop, 웹툰, 웹소설 등 다양한 문화콘텐츠를 다룬다.

This course focuses on the appreciation and comparative analysis of representative Hallyu content in order to understand the characteristics of Korean popular culture. Various cultural contents such as films, dramas, K-pop, webtoons, and web novels will be examined.

한국영화의이해

한국 영화의 역사를 이해하고 주요 작품을 파악한다. 한국 영화의 주요 작품 및 감독 그리고 한국 영화 시스템 등을 공부한다.

This course aims to provides an understanding of the history of Korean cinema and to examine significant works. Student will study major works, directors. and Korean film industry.

한국드라마의이해

한국 텔레비전 드라마의 역사를 이해하고 주요 작품을 감상한다. 21세기 이후 한류를 이끈 대표적인 한국 드라마를 통해 한국 드라마의 특징을 파악한다.

This course examines the historical development of Korean television dramas and analyze major works. Particular emphasis will be placed on identifying the distinctive feature of Korean Wave dramas since the 21st century.

한국 현대시의 주요 작품을 선별하여 감상하고 한국 현대시의 특성과 경향에 대해 이해한다.

This course focuses on the appreciation of selected major works of modern Korean poetry, aiming to provide an understanding of its key characteristics and literary trends.
